We have two properties to let comfortable with all modern convenience but both quite individual
Bellon in Brittany is an old farmhouse built towards the end of World War 2. It has chestnut floors throughout and is furnished with new beds but some old French furniture. It is ideal for those people who want a taste of rural French living.
Mignac in the Vienne, although built at the turn of the 20th century has been modernized and now has tiled floors and is open plan, however it was originally built on the site of a troglodyte farm and so there is a whole cave system in the garden and it has its own swimming pool which although a few years old is a welcome relief from the heat of the summer. The garden is fully enclosed so ideal for families with children.
Both properties have been equipped with all new equipment such as microwaves, washing machines, fridge freezers and new cookers.
They are tastefully decorated, but they are still simple French properties so if you are into high tech living then they are not for you.
There are TVs (which are only DVD players) so don't be expecting to see your favourite soap!!, however there are cards and games, bicycles and rackets and a wonderful country to get to know. |
